Positioned on Brisbane’s CBD riverfront, Stanley is a two-storey Cantonese restaurant inspired by the moody waterfront of Hong Kong’s picturesque Stanley Bay. Featuring cocktail spaces, semi-private dining and dedicated BBQ and dim sum kitchens, Stanley caters to every event and occasion.

The festive season will commence from 14th November until 5th January, all reservations of 10+ guests during that time are required to join us on one of our Festive Banquets.

  • Front Deck

    Stanley’s front deck runs parallel with the Brisbane River, boasting panoramic views of the Story Bridge and city skyline all year–round.

    The front deck’s flexible configuration allows for both seated or cocktail events. Stanley’s historic façade, BBQ and dim sum kitchens and fully retractable awnings overhead, create an intimate feeling allowing guests to enjoy the alfresco setting.

  • Entire Side Deck

    Seated - 60 guests
    Cocktail - 50-70 guests

    Tucked away from the bustle of the precinct, Stanley’s Entire Side Deck combines the upper and lower level to cater to both seated or cocktail style events. The space features a private bar and retractable roof on the upper deck.

    Treat your guests to a unique perspective with stunning views out to the iconic Story Bridge and Brisbane River at any time of the day.

  • Downstairs Dining Room

    Seated - 80 guests

    Treat your guests to an ambient affair in the downstairs dining room and be treated to an elevated culinary experience. With luxurious furnishings and bespoke interiors the semi-secluded dining room is suitable for corporate events, special occasions and private celebrations.

Experience Stanley exclusively for your next event with full venue hire. Sophisticated, charming and exclusively yours – all downstairs areas of the heritage, waterfront venue can be utilised to provide a unique and luxurious experience for your guests.

Areas include: Front deck, side decks and the main dining room.

Please note: Stan’s Lounge operates upstairs with access required through the front of the building.

  • For larger corporate events there is the opportunity to use the entire Stanley restaurant across all areas – catering up to 220 guests, an experience sure to make an impression for your valued clients.
